a few favorites

Here are a few pictures from different places I have been in the last couple months. This first picture is Corso Garibaldi in Pavia, it is one of my absolute favorite streets, which is lucky because my apartment has an amazing view of it AND I walk down it at least twice a day. The fancy shop windows change pretty regularly, so keeping tabs on them and discussing new developments has become an avid hobby. I love this picture, although I wasn't actually enjoying the atmosphere at the time due to the fact that it was taken in the wee hours of the morn. Here is my good friend Jeremy munching on some prickly chestnuts in Bologna.
Amsterdam tulips!! I was afraid that we wouldn't see any beautiful flowers since we were in Amsterdam in mid December, but those green-thumbed dutch keep them coming all year long at the floating flower market.
One of the best hot chocolates I have ever had the pleasure to sip. We must have lounged around in this comfy cafe for about an hour and a half trying to avoid the freezing Amsterdam winds. The canals were beautiful, but boy did they chill things up.
