Some pretty summer-y things

It has been so gray here in Pavia for the last few days, which makes me more and more nostalgic for summer. Sooner or later the heat and sunshine will arrive, until then prepare yourselves for a constant stream of old summer-y photos that have been dragged up from the depths of my dusty and cob-webbed computer files. Chili peppers from Burough market in London! Burough market was one of the coolest farmer's markets I have ever seen. Apart from the ferry building market in San Francisco and the nomadic Berkeley farmer's market(I've got roots to respect guys and I may possibly be a wee bit biased). Just look at all that red hot color and sunshine though!
A corner street at Coney island. Looking at this photo makes me remember the delightful mugginess of the east coast. I would kill to be smothered in humid still air right about now.
The ferris wheel at Coney island. The colors of this magical contraption were truly splendid, not to mention the view! You can see the Manhattan skyline from the top, I would have spent hours and hours up there if I could have.
